This work is intended as a source book for those in the field, far from their help from their church headquarters. Many assumptions are made. The first assumption is that you are attending the seminary or bible school or has already done so. Moreover you are in some area of ministry in which you will be face with the decision to offer or withhold counseling help. Again, this is aimed for the beginner who is looking to expand the ministry and include those who are ill, hurting and lost their place in society. It is thought that this could be a guide to those of you in position of ministry that may be physically far from immediate help from your church support.

If you are a Bible Teacher for Jesus and the Kingdom of God, you better teach for Jesus! Jesus died for you, offered a free gift for you and loves you, supplies your bread and butter. Teach for him - yield completely to Him, witness for Him, stand by him and stand by the institution He represents.
The Kingdom of God needs Bible Teachers, good Bible Teachers, passionate Bible Teachers.

We are blessed with many good commentaries to help you understand the Scriptures. I would like to share some insight that I have gained by researching a commentary. I do not use a set. I select individual commentaries. When you buy individual commentaries you are not limited to one perspective. I have found that individual volumes are more current than sets.

The twentieth century produced more Bible translations than in any other period of time. These different translations of the Bible exist due to the changes in the languages. Did you ever try to read something written in your language that is 100 years old? How about something written 200 years ago. Try going back in time and read something 400 or even 500 years ago. It is likely you will not completely understand the text of what you are trying to read.

Here, the meaning of unique is “having no like or equal; unparalleled; incomparable: Bach was unique in his handling of counterpoint.” Using the word unique in this respect fully implies that it is not the only book written about gods’ dealings with mankind, rather it is a book that describes Gods’ history of dealing with man. Think of it in this manner: I was working in my garden yesterday and I discovered a log in which termites had taken up as their home.

The biggest spiritual decisions of your life will be made though the impact of Bible reading.

How much should the teacher talk? This is a hard question that must be answered by each individual teacher themselves. Without a doubt - most teachers talk too much. You can hardly find a teacher who talks too little.

Before we get into the Bible study, spend a little time to find out if it is worth all the time invested in it. Actually this is a necessary question each should ask themselves:
