I am bringing this massage of Zac Poonen because it is a true word from the Bible. Read it carefully and in prayer. Pray for the servants of God that are teaching the Word that they shall be faithfull to the Lord Jesus Christ only. (Michael)

In Malachi 2:1-3, Malachi’s message is to the priests. It was like saying, “I am not speaking to the congregation. I am speaking to the leaders who are sitting on the platform.” “Take it to heart”, the Lord says, “Honor my name or I will bring a terrible curse against you. I will curse even the blessings you receive. Indeed, I have already cursed them, because you have not taken my warning seriously. I will rebuke your descendants and splatter your faces with the dung of your festival sacrifices, and I will add you to the dung heap.”

Bible Teaching with passion

If you are a Bible Teacher for Jesus and the Kingdom of God, you better teach for Jesus! Jesus died for you, offered a free gift for you and loves you, supplies your bread and butter. Teach for him - yield completely to Him, witness for Him, stand by him and stand by the institution He represents.

The Kingdom of God needs Bible Teachers, good Bible Teachers, passionate Bible Teachers.

Bible commentaries

We are blessed with many good commentaries to help you understand the Scriptures.  I would like to share some insight   that I have gained  by researching a commentary.  I do not use a set. I select individual commentaries. When you buy individual commentaries you are not limited to one perspective. I have found that individual volumes are more current than sets.

Bible translations

The twentieth century produced more Bible translations than in any other period of time.  These different translations of the Bible exist due to the changes in the languages.  Did you ever try to read something written in your language that is 100 years old?  How about something written 200 years ago.  Try going back in time and read something 400 or even 500 years ago.  It is likely you will not completely understand the text of what you are trying to read.

How to study

If proper study of the Bible is undertaken, the will of God will be revealed to you, and prayer will be more effective. Studying the Word of God will teach the new Christian how to pray.  One day a great eastern teacher was confronted by one of his students concerning prayer.
